We set up the first Aniheater® in our pen in 2013, and since then we have switched to Aniheater in both the farrowing pens and weaner pens. Now we only have Aniheater® installed. Of all the Aniheater® we've set up over time, every single one is still working today. The Aniheater provides a very pleasant heat in both the farrowing pens and the weaner pens. The pigs thrive better in the nest because of the soft heat distribution. We have combined the Aniheater with a so-called Dual Controller, which allows the staff to control the pig's behaviour in a very optimal way. Cleaning the Aniheater is done with a high-pressure cleaner during washing. We are extremely pleased with our choice of Aniheater®.
We have chosen to install Aniheater® in our new stable. We have a total of 740 units fitted with the Dual Controller. We have been extremely pleased with the cooperation, we have had with Future Farming. It is a trustworthy company that keeps what it promises. We are very pleased with the Aniheater®, it provides an excellent heat distribution in the nest, and the Dual Controller ensures, that we can adjust the heat according to the need of the pigs. The durability is perfect, we wash them with a high-pressure cleaner when the sections are washed, and it has not caused any problems.
We have used Aniheater and the Dual Controller in a single stable since the market entrance of the Aniheater. We soon saw that it gave a much better distribution of heat, than we were used to, and that the pigs were more evenly scattered in the nest. Also, after several years of use and continuously washing with the high-pressure cleaner, we still find that there are no repairs and no maintenance needed at all. That’s why we were not in doubt at all when we built 168 new farrowing pens, we chose Aniheater and the Dual Controller for the new stable. The Aniheater provides a healthy environment which is pleasant for the pigs, and it is easy for employees to adjust the temperature of each pen. In addition, we save a lot of time from not having to take care of fragile lamps and bulbs when washing. And, between the production units, it has been a relief not to spend time switching bulbs, bad sockets, etc.
I have had Aniheater in my stable now for almost 4 years, and it has been a fantastic investment for me and not least my piglets. An excellent heat throughout the pen and around the piglets is good, it’s good animal welfare. I do not miss the old incandescent lamps, and I also like the fact that Aniheater is much safer against fire in the stables.

After a trial testing several heaters, Aniheater is the preferred one today.
I find that the pigs spread well beneath the cover and get an even heat distribution with Aniheater. It is very satisfying to see. Sometimes we think, that there is enough heat, just because there is light, while we have forgotten to look at the pigs' location and use of the nest.
So when the pigs don't lack the light, neither does the staff nor I, it's a pure habit.
If the pen blocks are used, for enhancing the piglet’s energy deposit, then we cannot actually see the pigs, but it works, as long as the environment around the piglets is right. The Dual Controller is easy to see from the walkway, where it is harder to see if a traditional heat lamp is set to half power.
In addition, the problem of the chimney effect, when the lamp has been removed, is also eliminated. Since there is not left a hole and a lid for the big pigs to play with.
